Holy Cross Choir
The Holy Cross choir is a multi-age and multi-generational choir. Our singers range from teenagers to Senior Citizens and we have, at present 3 sets of mother and daughter duos. The choir sings mostly SAB music arrangements. We sing on major feast days of the church year at the Traditional Service and occasionally in combined services with the Praise Band. The Holy Cross choir program is structured around four yearly projects including: 1. Ash Wednesday, Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday and Easter Sunday. The three other choir projects include: 2. Pentecost and Trinity, 3. Reformation and All Saints Sundays, 4. One Sunday in Advent (possibly singing a cantata) and Christmas Eve. Three or four rehearsals are set up for each project. Because of our structure around the major feast days the choir does not meet every week. However, the approach that has been taken has benefits. At most a choir member commits to a month (3-4 rehearsals and 2 Sundays) and is free to not sing for the next project. The choir is open to all. Contact Jack Hamill, Choir Director. Holy Cross Praise Band
We are blessed to be able to provide music and lead worship at our Holy Cross Contemporary Worship Service. Our Praise Band plays Sunday mornings at 10:30 AM in the sanctuary. The group plays modern contemporary worship songs in the style of artists such as Michael W. Smith, Casting Crowns, or Jordan Smith. The style of contemporary worship music is influenced by popular music, not suitable for the traditional church organ. Worshiping and praising God is the focus of the band at Holy Cross. We seek to glorify God in the music we provide. We choose music that focuses on Him and our relationship with Him.

Holy Cross Youth Ministry
Our Goal... The goal of our Youth Ministry is to provide opportunities for you to:CONNECT TO JESUS' LOVE -- We believe connecting is important! We encourage our teens to connect to God through worship, study, prayer, and fellowship with one another. We inspire our teens to connect by participating in Christian community and experiencing Christ' love, mutual support, and encouragement with each other.GROW IN JESUS' LOVE -- We believe growing is important! We provide teens many opportunities to grow in their relationship with God by studying His Word in the Bible. Our youth ministry is a place where you can hear about God for the first time as well as continuing to grow in faith after many years as a Christian.LIVE OUT JESUS' LOVE -- We believe that living out our faith is important! We offer teens lots of opportunities to live out their faith through service to others. Some ways this happens is by getting involved in ongoing ministries through local service projects or through special youth mission trips (like Duluth).2022 YOUTH SUMMER TRIPLast year the Holy Cross Youth Group Mission Trip went to Duluth, July 9-16!You can help by ordering a gift card!
