WOULD YOU LIKE TO LEARN HOW TO KNIT OR CROCHET?THEN JOIN THE PRAYER SHAWL MINISTRY!
If you would love to learn or are already a master at it, come have a little fun and make Prayer Shawls for those in need.
A Prayer Shawl is a wearable ((HUG)) crafted with love. They can be knitted, crocheted, or quilted. They may be adorned with beads, bobbles, fringe, or nothing at all. While the maker is creating, they keep the recipient in mind with prayer, personal words, song, or mantra. It’s these thoughts imbued in the shawl with each stitch that make them so special. The shawl is not only healing for the recipient, but also the maker. When the shawl is completed it will be blessed before being sent to the recipient. Shawls are given freely as a gift to anyone in need.
We will meet in the Narthex on the 2nd & 4th Thursday each month from 10:00 am-noon.  ALL are WELCOME!! If you already have the skills...GREAT! If you want to learn, there are plenty of helpers to get you started.
Be sure to bring knitting needles or a crochet hook and some yarn.
