Holy Cross Praise Band Image

Holy Cross Praise Band

We are blessed to be able to provide music and lead worship at our Holy Cross Contemporary Worship Service.  Our Praise Band plays Sunday mornings at 10:30 AM in the sanctuary. The group plays modern contemporary worship songs in the style of artists such as Michael W. Smith, Casting Crowns, or Jordan Smith. The style of contemporary worship music is influenced by popular music, not suitable for the traditional church organ.
Worshiping and praising God is the focus of the band at Holy Cross.

We seek to glorify God in the music we provide. We choose music that focuses on Him and our relationship with Him.

Holy Cross Youth Ministry Image

Holy Cross Youth Ministry

Our Goal...
The goal of our Youth Ministry is to provide opportunities for you to:
CONNECT TO JESUS' LOVE -- We believe connecting is important! We encourage our teens to connect to God through worship, study, prayer, and fellowship with one another. We inspire our teens to connect by participating in Christian community and experiencing Christ' love, mutual support, and encouragement with each other.
GROW IN JESUS' LOVE -- We believe growing is important! We provide teens many opportunities to grow in their relationship with God by studying His Word in the Bible. Our youth ministry is a place where you can hear about God for the first time as well as continuing to grow in faith after many years as a Christian.
LIVE OUT JESUS' LOVE -- We believe that living out our faith is important! We offer teens lots of opportunities to live out their faith through service to others. Some ways this happens is by getting involved in ongoing ministries through local service projects or through special youth mission trips (like Duluth).

STAY CONNECTED!
The best way to stay up to date on youth-related events and receive youth group updates is by checking the youth calendar (COMING SOON).

Prayer Shawl Ministry Image

Prayer Shawl Ministry

Date: 2nd and 4th Thursday each month
Time: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Location: Holy Cross Narthex
WOULD YOU LIKE TO LEARN HOW TO KNIT OR CROCHET?THEN JOIN THE PRAYER SHAWL MINISTRY!
If you would love to learn or are already a master at it, come have a little fun and make Prayer Shawls for those in need.
A Prayer Shawl is a wearable ((HUG)) crafted with love. They can be knitted, crocheted, or quilted. They may be adorned with beads, bobbles, fringe, or nothing at all. While the maker is creating, they keep the recipient in mind with prayer, personal words, song, or mantra. It’s these thoughts imbued in the shawl with each stitch that make them so special. The shawl is not only healing for the recipient, but also the maker. When the shawl is completed it will be blessed before being sent to the recipient. Shawls are given freely as a gift to anyone in need.
We will meet in the Narthex on the 2nd & 4th Thursday each month from 10:00 am-noon.  ALL are WELCOME!! If you already have the skills...GREAT! If you want to learn, there are plenty of helpers to get you started.
Be sure to bring knitting needles or a crochet hook and some yarn.
We're looking forward to seeing you there!!

Young Musical Artist Series Image

Young Musical Artist Series

Jack and Pastor have collaborated to develop “The Young Artist Series” to engage young talented musicians within our congregation in the music program: Young musicians who play musical instruments or have vocal talents are encouraged to contribute to the Sunday Services. Holy Cross has several young musicians who aid in leading the singing or playing their instruments during the services either as solos and/or accompanying hymns and the choir.
If a person is interested, contact Jack Hamill at 636-397-6406 or email jhamill376@gmail.com.

Teagan McCracken, Flute

Lexi Rechek, Singer

These young artists have all provided their musical talents to our 8:30 AM service.
